The Kelokedara Moringa Project
The Kelokedara Moringa Project is a long-term agricultural initiative dedicated to researching, cultivating and demonstrating the successful production of Moringa oleifera under Mediterranean conditions in Cyprus. Through practical experience, documented cultivation methods and evidence-based guidance, the project aims to support gardeners, farmers, researchers and commercial growers throughout Europe.
Why We Are Starting This Project
The Mediterranean climate offers exciting opportunities for cultivating drought-tolerant crops. Our vision is to explore whether premium-quality Moringa can be responsibly cultivated in Cyprus while openly sharing practical experience and creating a trusted European source.
Our First Plantation
The first stage will begin on approximately 22,000 square metres of agricultural land in Kelokedara, Paphos District, Cyprus. The site will become a living research farm documenting soil preparation, irrigation, planting, harvesting, drying, seed production, nursery development and commercial cultivation.
